Age Limit

19-33. Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. For SC/ST:19-35; ie; Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

Education

Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala

Physical Standards Male

Male Candidates Height-A minimum of 168 cms, Chest-A minimum of 81cms around the chest and must have an expansion of 5 cms on full inhalation.

Note: Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 160cm. The minimum chest expansion of 5 cm shall be made applicable to the Scheduled Caste andScheduled Tribe candidates.

Physical Efficiency Test:

All the male candidates must qualify in any of the 5(five) events out of the 8(eight) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test.

• 100 Meters Run 14 Seconds
• High Jump 132.2 cm
• Long Jump 457.2 cm
• Putting the Shot (7264 grams) 609.6 cm
• Throwing the cricket ball 6096 cm
• Rope Climbing(only with hands) 365.80 cm
• Pull Ups or chinning 8 times
• 1500 Meters Run 5 minutes 44 Seconds

Endurance Test:

All male candidates shall successfully complete an endurance test of running 2 Kilometres in 13 minutes.

Physical Standards Female

Physical Standards: Height-A minimum of 157 cms Note: Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 150  cm.

Physical Efficiency Test: All the Female candidates must qualify any of the 5(five) events out of the 9(nine) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test.

• 100 Meters Run 17 Seconds
• High Jump 106 cm
• Long Jump 305 cm
• Putting the Shot (4000 grams) 400 cm
• 200 Meters Run 36 Seconds
• Throwing the throw ball 1400 cm
• Shuttle Race (4 x 25 m) 26 seconds
• Pull Ups or chinning 8 times
• Skipping (One Minute) 80 times

Endurance Test:

All female candidates shall successfully complete an endurance test of running 2 Kilometres in 15(fifteen) minutes.
