Applications are invited from qualified Indian Citizens belonging to differently abled categories for appointment to the following post in the High Court of Kerala. Candidate shall apply ONLINE through the Recruitment Portal (www.hckrecruitment.nic.in) of the High Court. No other means/ modes of applications will be accepted.

Method of Appointment:

Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among differently abled candidates belonging to the following categories found suitable for the post as per G.O(P) No. 19/2020/SJD dated 25.08.2020)

  • Moderate Visual Impairment (40 – 60 %)
  • Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Locomotor disability 40% – 60% (moderate disability) iv) Multiple Disability including the above identified combinations.
  • Mental IlIness & Intellectual Disability (Mental IIlness 40-70% (moderate), IDD-IQ: 55-69(VSMS) (50%))

Note: Applications of candidates other than those belonging to the above said categories will be summarily rejected.

 Age Limit:

  • For Deaf and hard of hearing / Visual impairment:- Candidates born between 02/01/1973 and 01/01/2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
  • For other disabilities Candidates born between 02/01/1977 and 01/01/2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. The maximum upper age limit, with all eligible relaxations combined, shall in no case exceed 50 years.
  • the upper age limit shall be raised by five years in the case of a person belonging to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe and by three years in the case of a person belonging to the Other Backward Classes.

Qualification:

  • Should have passed Standard V and should not have passed SSLC or equivalent.
  • Good physique Mode of Selection:

 Selection

  • will be on the basis of Written Test and Interview OR Interview having regard to the number of applicants. If written test is conducted, it will be of Objective Type with 75 minutes duration to be answered in OMR Answer Sheet will have 2 topics (Total 100 marks) as follows: (a) General Knowledge & Current affairs – 80 marks, b)Basic Mathematics – 20 marks. Each question will carry 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, 1/4 mark will be deducted.The medium of the test will be Malayalam.
  • Interview: The interview is for 10 marks. The minimum marks for being included in the ranked list will be 35% in the interview.

How to Apply:

The online application process has two parts Step-I and Step-II. ‘Step-I/ New Applicant is the first part for registration of the applicants. ‘Step-II/ Registered Applicant is the second part of the process for those applicants who had completed Step-I. A candidate’s online application is complete only if he/she completes both the steps which include the submission of application by clicking the ‘FINAL SUBMISSION’ option available in Step -II process.
